Default Navigation in a 5th gen.

I know that the 5th gens had a navigation system available in Japan, but they are hard to find here. What other navigation systems can you put in the 5th gen to give it the JDM look? I want the screen and a radio in the same unit. ive looked into like Kenwood and Eclipse units but I didnt like that much. Ive heard that you can put a TL screen in the lude and the navigation computer in the trunk. Is this true? Anyone know what works? Would I have to get the JDM bezel to fit the screen in and then move some of the switched in the clock opening?

for the price for the TL screen and equipment you can probably get the pioneer in dash with navi for like $2000 installed. Look on ebay for it

Was this the monitor only? The computer should be the most expensive part, it is going to control the radio. Also does the TL screen run the air conditioning? <-- Major dilemma if it does! You also have to consider the antenna and the harness. On another note, isnt the TL screen a trapezoid shape instead of a square? The JDM Prelude nav system is about the size of your radio and pocket combined. You will have to do some serious custimization to fit something in there like that without changing all of the dash components to the JDM dash IMO.

Does anyone know If the TL will fit? I dont know how big the unit is. If its the same size as the JDM one Im sure that you could pick up the JDM plastic surround piece and make it look like it came from the factory.
