Default misfire

so i've been throwing these damn misfire codes for about a year now. codes 71,72,73, and 74. i've replaced the cap, rotor, plugs, wires, and cleaned the egr. what gives? i rarely feel the car misfire (only time is when its just started) and this weekend i beat another 5th gen that claimed i/h/e and hondata so i'm guessing there is no power loss. anybody have any ideas? i would like to fix this problem soon because i want to do a direct port spray setup in the spring.

I've heard that problems with a intake/exhaust valve could cause misfires, I would check compression.

compression is fine. i'm between 185 and 193 on all cylinders. i'll redo my valve lash this weekend though to be safe. if bent valves are a possibility wouldn't i be able to hear them? the car ticks, but it is no louder than any other h22. one more thought. vibration from the balence shafts being gone couldn't cause the code could it?

Was it throwing the code before you put the MSD on there? It's been my experience those cause more problems than they're worth. Stay stock, bro.

But seriously, if it wasn't throwing it before or you don't know if it was, try putting a stock coil back on, and see what happens.

it was throwing the code LONG before the msd. since its thrown them i've tried a new OEM coil and then aquired a MSD and tried it to no avail.
