Default Manual Tension Conversion...SEARCHED

Found 3 diff sets up part #'s. Also if i already removed my balance shafts do i need....
BRACKET, BALANCER BELT ADJUSTER and ADJUSTER COMP., BALANCER BELT


here are the 3 diff sets of #'s i found

13404-PT0-004 - ADJUSTER COMP., BALANCER BELT
13415-PT0-000 - BRACKET, BALANCER BELT ADJUSTER
14510-PT0-004 - ADJUSTER COMP., TIMING BELT
14516-PT2-000 - SPRING COMP., TIMING BELT ADJUSTER
14521-P14-A00 - PLATE, ADJUSTER
90014-P14-A00 - BOLT, TIMING BELT ADJUSTER BASE
90015-PT0-000 - BOLT, TIMING BELT ADJUSTER SPRING
90016-PT0-000 - BOLT, TIMING BELT ADJUSTER
90140-P14-A00 - WASHER, PLAIN (11MM)


13404-PT0-004 - balancer belt adjuster
14510-PT0-004 - timing belt adjuster
14516-PT2-000 - adjuster spring
90014-P14-A00 - adjuster base bolt
90015-PT0-000 - adjuster spring bolt
90016-PT0-000 - adjuster bolt
90140-P14-A00 - 11mm washer
14521-P14-A00 - adjuster plate

90501-MB7-610 - washer
90216-P0A-000 - nut
90401-PT0-000 - rubber o-ring


14510-pt0-004 this is the Adjuster, Id suggest a Timken from AutoZone. Its only like 36$ @ honda its 68$. Auto zone can cross refrence the part #'s. The manual tensioner is on the 2.3l.
14516-pt2-000 spring 4.08$
90014-p14-A00 Bolt 3.85$
90015-pt0-000 Bolt 7.15$
900616-pt0-000 Bolt 8.48$
90140-p14-A00 Washer 3.22$

If you remove the balance shafts, just get some washers to hold the timing belt tensioner pulley down.

All you need is the timing belt tensioner pulley, the bolt it mounts on, the triangle plate, the spring perch, and the tensioner pivot bolt, and then some washers.

what parts do the washers replace? are the washers from honda?

The washers will take up the place where the balance shaft tensioner pulley went. that way the timing tensioner will work.

No honda doesn't sell washers to do a custom conversion....go to a hardware store.

get the damn balance shaft pully from the h23 and use that. dont use stupid wasers from a hardware store.

Just buy the conversion kit from irp...it is like 90 bucks and comes with everything needed.

I just did mine. Pretty easy really.
