Default Low End Horsepower......

preludes are known to have poor low end torque/horsepower. anyone have any suggestions, BESIDES i/h/e, that will increase it? what about a chip? the venom 400 modulator??? sound familiar to anyone? what are you opinions on it...

pulleys seem to be the best bolt on bang for the buck. (alliteration)

there are dynos out there that show its gains and almost everyone seems to love them. Unless you have a hardcore audio setup, pulleys won't really affect the electrical aspects of your car either (but everyone has their own opinions about this).

Another thing that people often overlook when looking for more power is traction. A good lsd/suspension/tire setup can help you hookup if you're having problems getting off the line.

hope this helps

Well i've said it before, my fav. mod for low-end power is to advance my my timing. It only works on OBDI cars b/c OBDII won't let you screw w/ the timing, but by just loosening the 3 bolts holding the distributor and pushing it back about 4 mm., it will greatly increase your low-end torque.
