Looking for a reputable dual-tip muffler.
I'm trying to maintain the stock look of my exhaust..im partial to the dual tips that come stock with a 4th gen (i call them the 'dirty duo') Mine are all rusted and piping needs replacement anyway, so i am looking to replace it. Anyone know of anything that i wont run me too far over half a grand? btw: im looking for catalyst back, something with a pronounced but not weedwacker tone to it. Thanks!

im gonna buy one from a member named KTeller8, he has a groupbuy in the FI classifieds. it's a dual tip magnaflow exhaust, with 2.5" piping. he has great prices, and a deal on cats too.

Checkout http://www.vibesacc.com , this will take you to jti-innovations website. Just wait for it to load and click on VIBES ACCESSORIES.
I have the vibes dual tip stainless steel muffler and love it. I used to sell Vibes products when I was in the aftermarket business. You get a nice DEEP throaty sound, not a ricey pissed off chainsaw sound. I no longer sell Vibes due to being out of that business but i can vouch for the quality. Just log onto their site. Here is a pic of the one I have on my car:

The Vibes mufflers are not entire systems. They are just a universal stainless muffler. I had my piping redone at a local exhaust shop. For 2.5" piping from the cat back only cost me $50. And that is aluminized piping INSTALLED. I'm a design it yourself type person. I can't see spending $500 on an exhaust system thats only going to get me 7hp at most.

Try looking at exhausts from brullen or stromung, i have a stromung exhaust on my 3rd gen and it sounds very low, especially at low rpms, if you mash it into the high rpms it gets louder..but nothing close to a civic or any other prelude i have heard.
