Just got a 2000 prelude, has jdm h22a, needs throttle body...
its an auto (i know ill swap it later) i have the oem intake tube, and its pretty stock, but i cant find a 62-64mm oem replacement for the throttle body (it sticks closed sometimes and has trouble starting/idling for extended periods but just keeping a little on the gas keeps it from bogging) tried to clean it, and checked to see if it was to tight but its not, its kind of odd, never had this happen. i found the skunk2 66mm throttle body for 125$ on andy's but i need to know if it will fit, or if anything else will need to be done. im working on limited funds, so 200$ is like my max price for it/other parts. and i don't know if i could afford a larger body and an intake that would fit, so what should i do? any suggestions or help appreciated!
this is my first lude, and my first h22, and im loving it so far other than the start/long idle issue, it runs and drives amazing, so damn quick! used to have 94 civic coupe with a d15b but its been a while and i wanted another honda, and wanted to move up a little and this was a good choice. I've heard good things about them, and i got it for a really good deal so I couldn't pass it up, I get this done and its ready to roll.

I would start off with cleaning the IACV, or Idle Air Control Valve, right on the front of the intake manifold when you are standing in front of the car. If you do a little searching you will find all the info you need.
If that doesn't do it, look at our "surging idle" thread, in the FAQs.

You dont benefit from bigger tb without serious mods so just clean your current parts
(ever done valve adjustment and changed ignition parts?)
Of course 66mm will work, but you have to do fitv delete there as well but Id make sure first that your basic maintenance is up to date

ive already cleaned everything up, the issue is the butterfly plate itself is getting stuck closed, cleaning everything didnt fix any issues, so dirtiness is not the issue, its all pretty clean in the throttle body/intake.

i have personally never done valve adjustments, ive had the car for about 2-3 days now, its only got about 40-50k miles on the engine. i HAVE to get a throttle body to get it inspected, because they wont inspect it if its bogging out, i would just take an oem replacement if i could find one, not really trying to go aftermarket, i have like 200$ to resolve this issue, then i wont have any money left after titlesawp/registration/inspection. its gonna be my daily for a wile before i start going ***** to the wall with mods or anything.

eBay for the throttle body..... or I might actually have one..... Pretty sure the 4th gen TB's are the same, but I've got both 5/4 laying around somewhere.
I'd replace it with a stock TB if you're not going to do anything else to the car and you're tight on money. They're on eBay all day for CHEAP. I searched for 1 minute and found 3 under $60.
