Steering Rack Knocking Noise
I did the 4ws conversion to my 89 about two weeks ago, and lowered the car at the same time. About a day ago, I began to develop a knocking noise coming from the front of the car. I had a mechanic look at it, and he thought it was coming from the front steering rack.
The noise rotates, faster and slower, depending on how fast I am going. Is there something in the steering rack that could cause this sound?
