Hum from the gas tank
There is a hum that is coming from the gas tank of my 92 Prelude.
It hums when I turn the car off. It's not the fuel pump. I disconnected the power wire to the pump motor and it still did it.
It hums for a little while then turns off then back on for a second then off.
It doesn't seem to drain the battery.
I guess it has to be the sending unit.
Is this semi normal?

it's definitely probably the pump or sending unit every time you turn the key into the "on" position it primes to fire the engine. Only other thing i could think of is the automatic antenna. goes up and down when the key is turned on if the radio was on.
