rear upper ball joint
So I know this topic has been covered many times with no real answer as far as i can tell. The only way you can replace the upper ball joints on a prelude in the control arms is either buy the new control arm from honda or buy the camber adjustable ball joint from spc or ingalls. I dont know if anyone has tried these but i am tempted too since they are only 30 bucks.

With that being said these are apparently for a 5th gen prelude front upper arms. What are the odds they fit the rear uppers as well? I would assume the ball joints are the same size but who knows. Also i have a 4th gen and I know the suspension components are for the most part the same across the 2 models. I know there is a lot of variables here whether these will fit the rear upper arms of a 4th gen but i wanna know if anyone has some input. talk it out. tell me what you know....

Re: rear upper ball joint
i was looking on ingalls website and their adjustable ball joint model numbers are the same for front and rear for both 4th and 5th gen prelude so im really thinking that these will fit for both 4th and 5th gen prelude upper control arms.

Re: rear upper ball joint
I thought 5th gen front upper ball joints have a different part number from their rear upper ball joints
fifth gen rear upper balljoints are the same as 4th gen rear upper ball joints which are the same as 4th gen front upper balljoints, though
so if you can find a replacement rear upper for a 5th gen
you should be able to replace all 4 sides for a 4th gen. At least that was my interpretation of Ingalls' parts numbers
you can compare Ingalls numbers here

Re: rear upper ball joint
You should compare them if you can anyway.
I have a control arm from a junk car that has an aftermarket balljoint pressed in, so there has to be a source for replacing these.
I'm just having a hard time finding one online that will for sure work for 4th gens.
