HELP!! CAR DIES AFTER STARTUP
my car just recently ran into problems after i took off my distribitor and tried to put it back in. the car starts up with me giving it a little bit of gas i have to keep the idle from dying, when i rev the car it seems like its misfiring. what could be causing this problem? i replace cap, rotor and spark plugs. could it be that i have the distribitor in the wrong way? timing problem? please honda-tech i need your help!!

Did you take the whole distributor off? Or just the cap/rotor?
Check your grounds. If all the grounds seem fine check your timing. I'm guessing it's a ground problem though because I have had the same symptoms when I forgot to connect one of the ground wires after putting my engine back in.

Check to see if you the distributor rotor (?) is not upside down in the slot where it connects to the exhaust cam.
My car wouldnt start because of this.

Put the #1 cyl at TDC and see if the rotor is facing the #1 cyl
