Can anyone tell me anything about the serial number on the engine??

What is it that you want to know ? I believe KronSH has the most information based on serial numbers

Manufactured origination, year mostly

Does it have a year stamp on it ? If it has one, it should be on the head, exhaust side, bottom left of the power steering pump.

If it was made in 99 it can only be either 99 or 00 car...more likely 00 car.

Yeah, I don't think 200xxxx is a '97 serial number either.

Here are some pics straight out of my Helms manual. According to your serial number on your block its a 1998, and your head is obviously from a 99 h22 engine, since you have told us that info already. Hope this helps.
