Dyno results H22A with Crower Stage 2 cams
195.2 hp, but only 148lbs/ft. They said they could not get a good read on the RPM for some reason, thus the lower torque numbers. This is what they told me. The dyno/tuning was done in 3rd gear. The "base line" or second pull before tuning was 185.6hp. 16 pulls later, VTEC engagement set at 4800, and the 195. I'll try to get the graph scanned and posted for those who need to see it next week. The guy who did the tuning was Isaac at Elite Autosports in Minneapolis.
My setup:
Modifed DC DAC intake to be cold air
DC CC Header 4-2-1
Greddy PE Exhaust
AEM Underdrive Pulleys
Dinan chipped P13 ECU (8100 fuel cutoff)
Apexi VTEC controller(VTEC @4800)
ACT Clutch
Complete Rebuilt Motor with:
New main and rod bearings
Eagle H-Beam rods
Type-S 11:1 .25mm oversized pistons
Crower stage 2 cams w/dual springs and titanium retainers
Manual tensioner conversion
One word of advice that I got from members here, and I will pass on. When he made the first pull on the dyno, he cut it off at 6500, because the air/fuel ratio spiked really lean. So, if you get these cams, be sure to get it dyno tuned as soon as possible, and DO NOT run your car into VTEC until you do.
Anything else you want to know? Post a reply, I'll answer back. Also, I know there are a number of things I could do to make more, like a P&P, but my budget only goes so far this time.
One more thing, this is my daily driver, and it is damn nice to have her back!

Good numbers
Are you using the stock cat? If not, what?
Did you mill the head or use an aftermarket headgasket?

Stock Cat, Stock/New OEM head gasket, and no head milling. Basically the only things I have done to the motor are what I listed above, except I see that I missed the manual-tensioner conversion for the t-belt.

Re: (jacklee)
Isaac retarded the timing 2-3 degrees, and the fuel is all stock, I have no pressure guage. Something he said I should think about investing in.

Choked, meaning the exhaust components I have are not that good?
Recomendations?

Well you still have the stock cat and the DC header is basically a stock manifold - the Greddy PE isn't bad, but...
How 'bout a full SMSP setup? Header, hi-flow cat, and exhaust?

Re: Dyno results H22A with Crower Stage 2 cams (All-Motor H22A)
that is pretty low torque concidering how much hp. My car made 184whp and 163tq w/ stock cams, stock bottom end, and untuned ecu.

That's pretty weird...a stock 4th gen motor makes maybe 145tq max and a 5th gen is closer to 140 with bol-tons...

what's so weird about it? the head is ported and shaved 20thou. the balance shaft is also removed from the block. Those numbers aren't so hard to believe.

Well no it makes sense now....All the things you did would increase torque...I was saying it's weird cause you only mentioned the stock things..
How was the no balancer shafts on vibration? I want to take my belt off but I just don't want to hate driving around...

Re: (Cottonwoodz)
Third gear gives slightly lower HP figures.. and slightly higher torque figures... now here is the confusing thing on top of all these things... I dynoed at 180 hp and 155 ft/lbs on stock internal h22 and only I/H/E and a cat still on.. only I don't have PS but I do have AC... with hondata.. I got up to 186 and 161 ft/lbs... so... for third gear I would say those torqe figures are low... but the HP is high as hell... put it in fourth and you should see your HP go up a little.. but torque go down...
also... it's a JDM h22 I have..

First learn what Horsepower and torque are, and how they relate.. Then get back to me..
