my h22a has between 220-230psi in each cylinder.

Add a cap of oil to the low psi cylinders, and see if the numbers climb?
are you opening the throttle??

as long as they're within 10% of each other (20psi) it's normal.

Correct, it's not so much about the numbers themselves but the consistency of the numbers across the cylinders in general.

your username, I would presume.

and I feel like you're doing it wrong dude. If your compression numbers are bouncing all around, then you need to unplug the main coil wire, and unplug the fuel pump fuse under the dash, top row, 15amp. #23 if memory serves.

Then crank it WOT doesn't matter how many cranks it takes (well it can for diagnosing but to keep it simple don't worry) just stop when it maxes out.

Those will be your final numbers. If anything comes up low, try a little oil, then retest. You shouldn't be getting different variances every time. Crank til it maxes out
