clutch making a squeaking sound
when i depress the clutch about halfway down it squeaks, and squeaks at the same spot as i release it. any ideas?

Mine does the same thing... I thought it was the pedal or something. Let me know when you find out something..

Mine does that as well on my 4th gen Lude, doesn't effect any performance tho. It's just rather annoying, but knowing where to grease it would be a great help.

Nah because I change cars and I can still here the small squeak.. It seems to be coming from somewhere in the tranny area.

My lude engine is a 98..

yeah, i think i'd know if it was coming from behind the pedal itself. it's coming from underneat somewhere. i'll have to lift the car and find out.

pop your hood, have a buddy stand over your tranny and depress your clutch, if he hears something from the tranny you found the problem, its probably just the spring near the firewall on the inside of the car though.
