CEL code write-up. How to and Code List.
So i decided to make a thread for CEL codes so instead of everyone asking what this code is and that code is. So I'm going to start off by telling people how to check their code.
First, find the diagnostic connector, which is a two wire blue connector found behind the console by the drivers side feet or the passengers side feet. Short out the connector by putting some sort of wire into them (ex. Paper clip or just a copper wire). Then, turn the ignition to On but not start. The check engine light on the dash will flash the problem codes. If there are more than 1 problem, a different code will subsequently follow the first after a brief pause.
There are two types of flashes - short and long, which are combined to represent number codes. Each short flash indicates 1 unit and each long flash represents 10 units. Problem codes 1 - 9 are indicated by 1 - 9 flashes, problem codes 10 - 90 use 1 - 9 long flashes. If the code is more than 9, the long flashes will start first before the short ones. The codes will continue to repeat as long as your ignition is on.
After you get the code number, you have to find out what the code actually means.

his gears D4 constantly flashes and after awhile the check engine light comes on. Apparently the speedometer freaks out sometimes and the Rpm's.
