Default Getting Tuned Next Sat.. i have some Questions

hey im getting my lude tunedon the dyno VIA VAFC 2

I opted for the vafc, just because its cheap, easy to install... and EASY To sell, if i need to... Anyways... Im just wondering what a few last minute things i can do before I get tuned.

My mod list:

h22a1:
- Apexi Short Ram Intake
- MR header
- Test pipe
- 2.25 exhaust with 2.36 RSR axleback
- JUN flywheel
- Exedy organic clutch
-NGK blue wires
-Denso Plugs

Recent stuff done within 5k miles (or less)
-Spark plugs
-Distributor Cap +Rotor
-Oil
-Tranny Flush
-Fuel Filter

Ok, well Im just wondering what kinds of supporting mods would help on the dyno?

Injectors?
Colder Thermostat?
?????

with that minor list of mods it doesn't seem like you would benefit very much from tuning with the vafc .. or anything for that matter. I may be wrong but usually you don't benefit much unless you have more done to the motor than that. people tune their ecu when they have more fuel and air flowing and want to get the right amounts at certain times to make the right power... do what you want but that's my opinion

could you expand a little more?
with significant engine mods, I would not use the vafc, but what other kinds of mods could i do, which would most benefit me?

Drop in a new set of cams and cam gears?

I disagree, he has all of the "breather" mods. You can gain a lot of power by tuning now.

Just make sure your car is in tip top shape before you head to the dyno.

i belive the same thing unless you have put in cams, pistons, or turbo/supercharged it then there is really no need. so unless you have gone into the motor, but tuning it will never be a bad thing it will just make it work smoother

why would anyone in their right mind tune a turbo/built na car with a vafc?

the vafc (as far as i know) is designed to help tune cars with more "minimal" breather mods (i.e.h)

i would go to a tuner than can burn u a custom tune for ur ecu the afc, might help some.. but u can get quite a bit of gain from a program, cause you can change timing maps, etc

i have a ericks racing p28 sittin in my garage..( i switched) to an AEM EMS... too bad ur not closer, i would let you try it out to see if thats something you would like.. im sure you would, especially compared to the afc.. i think it works better w/ more mods.. ie small turbo set-ups and cam profiles, etc...
