Default Backfire from Intake 94 lude f22b1

i bought this car like 5 months ago with 65k on the body and a f22b1 engine
(i thinks that's a Accord engine) in it so its been swapped after messing with so wires i got the fuel pump to prime and spark to work. it did not fire still so i checked the firing order and matched it up so that's good now it just back fires from the intake and it seems like it wants to start but it wont.

So what do i need to check for the backfire issue?

Start with mechanical timing.

Take off the timing covers, turn it to tdc, and see if all of the timing marks line up correctly.

Ditto the above^^^ it sounds like a timing issue, check both mechanical and electrical timing, YouTube has more then a few vids on timing, both mechanical and electrical. 94

Take a close look at the iacv connector and the iat connectors and all those around the intake area, including the map sensor. It's possible to accidentally swap connectors which can cause an issue like yours.

the cat could be clogged, pull the oxygen sensor and see if it runs better
