AWD Prelude?

AWD Prelude?
There's a guy here in Austin (I believe he also posts on H-T) who rigged his integra with a cr-v drivetrain (I think) to make it RWD/AWD capable. What are the odds you could do this with a prelude? What about the new SH-AWD system Acura is coming out with? could a prelude be retrofitted with that? Also, if you managed to get a 4ws prelude AWD, would it still have 4ws or would you have to dump it? an AWD prelude would be bad ***. Especially with a k24/k20a2 hybrid under the hood

If your talking about the accord sir-t, it only came with an auto in the awd model, and you dont want that slush box in you car even if it is awd.

Re: (brody)
with these posts, i say...
Anything is possible with money.
however, the drivetrains on stock awd Hondas are just not strong enough to handle and modifications done onto the engine. they're designed for commuter use, not drag racing.
I suggest if you want an AWD car, go get an evo or a STi

Yea, ultraconserveative Hondas awd system sucks. The only use Hondas awd is good at is getting started on slick surfaces. Its too slow responding for drift or grip racing and too weak for drag.
