Default auto tensioner failer

1998 Honda Prelude auto tensioner fail and the car died. I replaced the auto tensioner , water pump, timing belt and balancer belt and pulleys. Now it will not even turn over. I bump the starter solenoid and no spark to the plugs. Do you think the CKP/TDC sensors are bad. any help would be thankful. stan

This requires diagnostic and appropriate diagnostic tools. We can't tell you what's wrong over the Internet by only saying it doesn't have spark. There are many reasons it won't have spark but being you just did a bunch of work, you probably need to double check your work and make sure everything is plugged in and times correctly. Or you can listen to the next person that posts a random answer and go spend money and hope for the best.

are you sure valves were not damaged when the tensioner failed? Did it turn over initially after replacing the tensioner? Do you have the proper means to do diagnostics? Check engine lights? Have you checked for stored codes? Did you set timing correctly? Firing order?

There is a lot of essential information that is missing.

probably bent the valves. pretty common if your tensioner fails.

My tensioner failed last week, and it had no issues driving or running, save for the horrendous fluttering noise coming from inside the timing cover. What you're describing sounds a hell of a lot worse than a timing tensioner issue. You will likely need to get the car professionally diagnosed, as you could have snapped a belt, damaged the head, etc.
