Default ACT vs. Exedy: Which do you prefer?

So right now I'm in the market for a new clutch. I'll be getting the ACT prolite flywheel to go along with the new clutch, but I haven't made up my mind yet. I'm looking at the ACT Heavy Duty clutch w/Organic Disc and the Exedy Organic clutch. I had an ACT in my old setup and loved it, but I've heard a lot of good stuff about the Exedy clutch as well. What do you guys run and what do you think about it?

I've seen those things take some serious punishment! I had one in my last setup and it survived several 7000rpm launches. Broke 3-4 CV's but the clutch was always perfect.

If you have had great results with the ACT disks then why would you change to see how good the Exedy is? Sounds like money being thrown away. What if you don't like the Exedy? Not to be biased but I have the ACT stage 1 clutch with Xtreme pressure plate and Im happy. Soon Ill be upgrading to a 6puck clutch and since I have had a great time with ACT's milder setup I have no reason to switch.

To ACT, I've seen far too many fail due to bad tolerances and manufacturing. I helped install a handfull and at least 2-3 have failed prematurely. Install was by the book, and the CM or Exedy's that we put in to replace the ACT's are working flawlessly and to top it off, NONE of them require the lead foot that the ACT required.

ACT and EXCEDY! Excedy are pretty much factory made clutches but i liked my g/f ACT clutch. Nice and tight! (wait a minute!)

Not trying to start something... but 2-3 clutches out of 5 bad? How about some pics? That is the worst review of ACT clutches i have ever read on HT and i'm finding it hard to swallow?

ACT's require more effort because they clamp harder than Excedys - You gain in performance what you lose in comfort like many other after-market parts.
