95 2.2 vtec, clutch issues
Hey, im new to this site, but i am in desperate need of some assistance.
My lude, a jap import, 2.2vtec manual with lsd, has suffered with very sudden clutch failure.
I was at a set of lights yesterday, my foot planted on the clutch in 1st, and it started to judder, like it was engaging the clutch itself!
I managed to get it home but today, i started it and it wouldn't let me select any gears.
The clutch pedal assembly ( master, reservoir and slave) seems fine, smooth, with no leaks.
About the only thing i noticed before this incident was i noticed the clutch pedal sometimes wasn't smooth, and the bite was quite high.
What are peoples thoughts on this?
All help would be appreciated

Probably just need a new clutch, sounds alot like what I had going on when I blew a couple springs out of mine.
Just pick up an Exedy oem style clutch, should do you great.

I've had a look at the clutch master cylinder again, and my mistake, it has been leaking. But there isn't air getting into the system, i bled the system. Is it possible that the master cylinder cant provide the hydraulic pressure to properly dis-engage the clutch?
