546whp low boost dyno
Finally got the new Borg Warner S372 in the car and headed to the dyno for some preliminary tuning. The car is a fully built F20B block (87x88mm) with an H22A head. Run was made at 25psi on C16 fuel using RC 1600cc/min injectors (62%duty).
I went there planning to run 36-40psi...but was limited to 25psi due to my 9-13psi wastegate spring. I have a new wastegate on the way that will let me get to the 40psi goal.
Runs were very smooth as you can see by the dyno plot and no real tuning was done yet other than making sure it was around 11.7 AF.
Won't be heading until the track until all the power is extracted. :burnout:

It made 515 on pump at 22psi...then i just put the race gas in and could only get 3 more pounds out of the wastegate. Should make some "impressive" numbers on my runs at 36-40psi. Whatever it makes at that boost is my goal.
This is also using a ram horn with a undivided housing matched to the divided S372, which is not optimal at all. I had 4 custom mounts, but now that I took the front one off it is really moving alot. I will put a solid front mount in later this week.

i'd put solid mounts all the way around. it looks like your using the stock DS mount.

very nice, a lot of people have been switching over to the borg warner S300 series turbos lately..
even i have considered it..
good luck on the higher boost! it should make some sick numbers.. because you are barely tapping the power of that turbo
nice to see you still posting on here, been years since ive last seen you post..

Hondata S300
Once the wastegate problem is fixed so there is no leaking exhaust anymore + a larger spring things should start to look a little brighter.

Re: (XES)
what kind of bottom end parts do you have? Is it the F20B crank? What pistons? Not trying to be nosy man I have been considering the F20B for some time just because of the non FRM cylinders. Please elaborate, if you don't mind.

Re: (pentaq)
Finally got the new Turbosmart 50mm Power-gate (going in next week). 21psi base spring for street & track. Now things will move.
My website info is also updated...but pics still to come. Now I will see what a 255lph intank + Bosch 044 inline maxes out at
I also have a solid front mount that will be going in too

Re: (98vtec)
Is the F20B worth building in its stock sleeved form?I realize its only 85mm stock , right? Are there any forged pistons that will work or can this block be bored out a little. 86mm, maybe? I am looking into this as an alternative to sleeving and I would rather have this over a low revving G23 hybrid(not knocking those guys running that setup). I would rather buy the F20B, then I will have a spare VTEC head to build as well.

This guy was running 12's@350whp before most of you knew what VTEC was......
Show some respect.....you replied to him like you make 600whp and have clocked single digit passes.....
