man dont get ripped... some places say 5 angle but they mean 3 angle on the valve seat and 1-2 on the valve.. this is stock setup
true 5 angle is 5 angles on the valve seat and 1 on the head..i believe
stock angles are
60 degrees on the first angle
45 degrees on the second angle
30 degrees on the third
what that does is kinda makes the air swoop down..
adding more angles will let the air get into the chamber better.

it doesnt reduce to a 3 angle. there are angle(s)(depending on what kind of valve your useing) that is what seals the combustion camber so the air cant get in. once the valve opens again your 5 angles on the head are still there..

you have to be careful when doing this type of stuff.. to much air can also loose hp.. if u are running low boost i woundt bother..but hp is hp so do what has to be one.. just remember 5 angles means the thinner your seats...
