Default 1995 VTEC Power Steering Leak - Ok to just remove the belt to drive?

Hey I am getting parts in to repair a leaking pump. Getting foam in the PS bottle and overflowing, looks like the pump and maybe the lines are leaking probably pump seals need replacing. Any problem with just removing the belt to drive for a week while I wait for the parts to come in the mail?

Actually It may be off for a few weeks due to my very busy upcoming schedule.

Just wondering if I can drive for say 700 miles without a PS belt

That's what I thought, wanted to make sure nothing gets damaged.

It will be fine, just remember that you will need to cary more momentum into low speed turns and parking, and it will build arm muscle a bit.

I frequently pull the belt on mine, and turning it with slicks aired down to under 15psi can be fun!

Many people have pulled most of the sytem and looped the lines with no ill effects, or gutted the rack to make steering easier, but it can give a vague wandering feel some have reported after gutting the rack.

I had my ps belt come off using my accord pump with my h22a and I'll tell you it was quite scary. Good luck if you choose to go without it.
