went to the dealer today and looked at sv650
Well I rolled up there this morning and talked to the guy and all they had in stock was a blue sv650s they had a sv650 but sold it last week. Another salesman has a 99 sv650 and gave us the keys and we went out and fired it up and that thing sounds sick. I was really impressed with the tone and rumble of the exhaust. I sat on it too which I've sat on those before and I like it. I sat on the sv650s and the seating is a lot more aggressive. For me I didn't really like the aggressiveness to it, I felt like my knees were up too high. I'm sure if I rode it a lot and got used to it I would be fine. I went to another dealer afterwards to check out an sv650 they had used but they had already sold it. Then that guy was showing me a buell blast they have used but I know well enough to stay away from them. I pitty the fool that buys that damn thing.

find out exactly what you want in a bike, and buy the bike that best fits your needs, not needing whatever bike you buy.

Re: went to the dealer today and looked at sv650 (RedStarGsr)
if I got one I'd go with the regular sv650. That bike suits me better for the riding I do. The dealership that I goto sells all the japenese stuff... honda, kawasaki, suzuki, and yamaha. I like going there because they'll tell you what the differences are between the different bikes. I've ridden before but I didn't renew my motorcycle license because I had sold my bike and I didn't think I'd be riding again for awhile but now I'm getting the itch again so now I have to start all over and get that. This time I'm gonna do it right and take the msf then get the license. After I get my license I plan on test riding some models to get a feel for which bike I want then I'll start looking for used ones.
