No. A friend of mine back in Charleston just rolled over 100k miles on his F4i. He uses it as a commuter and as a work vehicle.
I actually like his bike, he has a set of Corbin saddlebags on it and a Corbin trunk thingy. When it rains, he suits up. I bet he saves thousands a year on fuel by riding that thing.
I think with proper maint. and care, any CBR can easily go for 100k miles. Any vehicle is as good as the maint. you do to it. Heck, I have seen old 70's model motorcycles with almost 100k miles on them. Just ask MSchu or mos about the oldies.

It's true that a CBR (there are many models, which are you talking about?) can go to 100k miles, but if it's ridden hard then it will be thoroughly worn out by then. As long as the maintenance has been done, 15-20k miles on a Honda I-4 is fine. Need more details!

It isnt' a question of how many miles a vehicle has. It's more about how those miles where ridden and how was the maintenance.
But I have seen CBR's with over 100k miles and still running strong...with the proper care, they will reach that mark.

I don't care how hard it was ridden, if it the regular maintenance was done and wasn't crashed (aka stunt bike or race bike crashed a bunch) then it's fine. My RC51 has about 13k on it and a lot of that is track miles and it'll run near forever as long as I keep up with everything.

think about it this way. If you reved the **** outta your car everytime your rode it, put it through the cornens hard, downshifted to 3/4 red line, and launched it all the time it proly wouldnt last too laong no matter any kind of maint. (although maint. has just as big of a deal on how long it will last) And you would never think about buying it as a used car. It wont last. Yes it only has 90k but the 130k car next to it on the lot thats been babied will last a ton longer.
Find one that hasn't been ridden hard. Olderguys going through midlife crisis make for a great used bike. If they say its been well maint. ask for records, recipts. No records no sale. High milage bikes are just as good as low mile bike if theyve been treated well and maint..
