Default Stripped Oil Pan

jesus... you guys who I talked to were right... The oil pan was so stripped...

my dad and I took the plug off to drain all the oil out and the threading on the pan was stripped at the very beginning... my dad is going to fix it for me. When we finish it I will post up the pictures... of that and my bike with the before and after wash...

Thanks for all the info guys... should be back on the road tomorrow

Dont let a small thing like stripping out your oil pan keep you from doing your own maintenance!

And my bike? I lowsided and just scratched up the right fairing, engine cover and mirror. Not worth fixing, for what I paid for the bike, and the age and mileage. Just gonna rock it as is.

Been going good. Today went for a 200 mile ride with Mayhem, Gzer Tribe, ELA Riders, Cocky Riders. It was a memorial ride for a guy named Stewart who was killed this past month. R.I.P. Stewart . Well we were like 80 DEEP! Took 110 to San PEdro where it ended and rode it up the Palos Verdes coast. Later after that 80 or so riders went to the fallen rider's home where his mom came out crying and so forth. Very emotional time.
So what about you Aaron, what u been up to?

woooohhhh whooooOO!!!!!

I just want to say thanks to all the guys who game me info on what to do. My oil pan is now fixed and only cost me $2. my dad re-tapped my oil pan for me and everything is back in the works. I am now able to ride again. The hardest part was to track down a bolt that i needed. because he re-tapped it with a fine threaded tap...

man did I learn my lesson and instead of paying $200+ for the pros to fix it, my dad stepped in and helped me out. Dads are great!!!!
