Re: Next Season's Track Toy (big pete)
I've been looking for a TZ125 for a while but I have to get the tow vehicle thing sorted first.
I guess the Integra would be fine if I raced a YSR

A buddy of mine tows his 600RR with his Integra just fine. Don't let that hold you back!
The CL ad was deleted. TZ125? How much?

Yeah, please don't be hindered by your towing vehicle. I towed with my Integra (before upgrading) just fine. It had 220,000 miles on the ORIGINAL clutch and would pull the bike all day long with no problems. I have the parts necessary for you to tow with a teg just sitting in the garage if you want them. (Hidden hitch, wiring harness.. etc.) Email me if you're interested, but like marmaladeboy said, fear not the teg towing!

12.5:1 compression B17a has its own issues getting itself to and from the track - I don't need to AAA my car and the trailer its towing

Its not technically mine yet. I should be picking it up tomorrow or Thurs. Oh, the best part is, its street legal. Theres going to be some knee dragging action in the neighborhood soon
If the weather clears up this weekend, I'll be at Stockton Motorplex doing a trackday for $25 . Then I'll tear it down and repaint/powdercoat the frame and give it a new paint job.

I think my KaTooM would explode on that track...too many fast, long straights.
April 27th, huh? That's a long time away.

Re: (marmaladeboy)
Infineon isnt a really fast track (unlike Thill). Infineon days book up usually within a few days of announcement. If you want to try a killer track, you MUST go to the Reno/Fernley track. Best track I've been too. Very technical - 20+ turns. Great on your motard

Yeah, R/F looks like a blast! I plan on hitting up these tracks in the future, especially Infineon and THill. I've only been to THill in a car.
A 450 thumper can only do so much on a big track.

Re: (marmaladeboy)
stay away from Thill especially with the thumper. You'll be bored. I was so frustrated at Thill with my 400 because you'll catch up to people on the turns and get blown away on the straights

Re: (marmaladeboy)
Infineon is a much more technical track and no long straights like Thill. Great for smaller bikes.
