first do a search cause this has been covered many times. all bikes are designed for people between 5'7" and 5'11" so any bike you get will be tight. my sv650 is comfy for me and im 6'4".

Do you have some literature that says "ALL" bikes are designed for people 5'7'' and 5'11'?

That seems a bit odd. Im 5'11'' can flat foot my 05 R6.

My friend's 6'2 (albeit skinny as a rail) and fits on his EX500 just fine.

You shouldn.t have any big problems at all. Go sit on some bikes and see for yourself. I'm 5'8 and wish I was your size. I can't stand not being able to flat-foot my bike.

flat-footing's for suckers. You gotta live on the edge! Being 5'6", sitting on even tallish bikes like the newer R6es I don't really feel that unstable or whatnot with both the ***** of my feet on the ground.

Maybe everyone should just do some squats and calf raises and all would be well.

edit: oops i threadjacked, this doesn't have much relevance to the topic. Just get an Interceptor, those seem like they'd be nice for taller peoples.

you can always lower the bike. and my friend has f4i and its lowered and its really comfortable.. you should shop around and see which bike is most comfortable for you and since you have the chance to lower it, then any bike will do for you... have fun riding!

no literature mostly because i dont read so good but im just estimating the average hieght of the market that buys motorcycles. nobody would make a bike that fit a 3' or 7' tall person perfectly. there arnt many people those heights and even fewer that have a demand for motorcycles is all i was saying.

I'd say the SV650 for comfort, but you said you weigh 250lb. The SV's suspension is super soft from the factory and can't even support my 160lb frame. You could definitely buy one and upgrade the suspension, but that might not be what you want.
The F4i has quite a bit of leg room and seems like it could do 250 pretty easily.
