CBR 600 F4i, Really the last of its class ?
I am interested in purchasing a CBR 600 F4i 2001 or 2002 and I have been told several times by honda haters that the cbr 600 F4 is the slowest 600 cc sport bike and the one that is handle less the road. Is that true, I mean I want a relialble sport bike but I don't want to buy something that I will like to sell 3 months later because all my friends are faster than me, they allg ot R-6, GSXr 600, 636 and cbr 600 RR... I resume is a 600 f4i a good buy ?? fo performance over its immeditate competitors...

The guys you ride with are squids, time to find new riding buddies.
Not because they may or may not be right, but because when it comes down to choosing a bike, speed is the last of your concerns. Get whatever feels most comfortable to you and is easy/cheap to maintain.
The F4i is a great bike, don't let the influence of some extremely small minded folks tell you otherwise. It's not *what* you ride, it's if you ride at all.

furthermore if you can actually discern the difference in speed between an F4i and some other 600, on the street, you need to slow the **** down and go to a racetrack.
buy the bike that you're comfortable on, has the prettiest colors in your opinion, is cheapest, whatever. the performance is so high on all of them that the difference will not matter.

Define what you're looking for in a bike, learn about how each is different from one another, then make an EDUCATED decision. Me and two of my friends could tell you a peice of feces tasted like a philly cheesesteak, but u'd probably want to find out the facts before you jumped into eating some, right?

TO be honest Iam looking for a sport bike that is more reliable and easy to maintain over performace since event if you got the cheapest sport bike a sport bike handles and pull hard...I am lighweight myself too I weight 120 pounds, And later If I find the bke not as fast as I want I can install a larger rear sproket to make the bike quicker ... of course less top end but who cares...

f4i has plenty of power to keep up with r6's, gsxr600s, etc. But like everyone said, its more important if the bike fits you. Go sit on some bikes and see which one you like. I personally like my f4i. I'd only trade it in for a 636 or 954rr.

damn man get out of my head! lol
Seriously I rock an F4i, wouldn't trade it for any other 600 out there . . . I've ridden gixxer 6's, R6's, and I'd take mine in a heart beat . . . my bike has been dropped probably a dozen times (especially now rockin 12's). I do have an engine cage, but it has been crashed twice before then. The engine was siezed 1 time also, I just popped it loose and kept riding lol Its my stunt bike now, and from the looks of it I chose the right bike . . . she's got soul man, she lives!
Read this review, then go try one out for yourself:
