1992 honda cbr 600 f2
hi, just had a quick question.
just recently made a purchase on my bike but i dont know much on a carb bike.
if i leave my switch on, and happened to leave it on for a long periods of time not riding will that flood my carbs?
i test rode my bike just fine but now my bike wont even start, i thought it was just a battery problem cause the battery would die after trying to start the bike twice.
my bike turns but it wont turn over.
wonder if its a carb problem or a spark plug problem.

are you saying it'll crank but it won't fire? if that's the case then it's probably the spark plugs, or a fuel delivery problem... but leaving the key on shouldn't do anything to the carbs, carbs on bikes tend to be gravity fed so it has nothing to do with on or off. draining the battery however, is certainly a problem if you leave the key on.

yeah i am guessing the spark plugs.
i mean by my gas switch on, would that flood the carbs.
well i dont get a spark plug tool till tonight so i will have to wait till then.
