would that be too much rim for the rear of a fit? i have no problem rolling the fenders but the lip of a 17 x 7.5 +20 wheel wont be sticking out of the quarter pannels right?

It will work if you run 195/40/17 with rolling the heel out of your fenders =P

I don't think it'll work no matter how much you roll the fenders. My fenders are rolled and I have 16x7.5 et35 and I still rub

My mum's 17x8 +40 with 225/40 rubs slightly at the rears. Even after cutting as much fender flange and bumper flange as possible. It rubs on big dips and bumps. None otherwise elsewhere.

The wheels are:

Front 10mm past fender...Rears 3mm before fender...


Your specs if not lowered:

17x7.5 +20 will protrude roughly 11mm (10.65mm) past fender at rears...

If you have them in the front it will be 24mm (23.65mm) past fenders...
