Default Fit owners past 10k miles

How is your car holding up?

i just got to 14.4k and she is runn'n great

save for a few body dings from driving on the highway twice a day its great

anyone know when its a good time to change spark plugs?

so far she's had 3 oil changes , i do them every 4500 , 3k i think is a waste , ecspecially for an econo car

hopefully by next year it will have a j's turbo kit and goodies, but i love it stock

just got some speakers and stuff, so sound system deff gonna get revamped here pretty quick

My engine's fine. The dash rattles like no ones business. Got a dented fender (happened while parked in a parking lot), scratch on my rear bumper (happened while parked infront of my house) and I need a new hood

I'm riding it out until the spring. Then maybe I'll fix everything. No rush here.

16k here.

I will be there most likely by the end of the month. I am at 9600 miles right now. I have some dash rattle as well but its not that bad, only on poor roads do I really notice it. I have 2 scratches in the driver's door but not bad enough that they can not be buffed out. Car still runs like a champ. I bought used so not sure of its previous oil change history but it is getting one regardless at 10,000 miles from me.

Currently at 28K miles. The dash rattles like no one business, especially when its cold. Something is rattling from behind as well. The front bumper and lip is chipped and scratched underneath. Besides that the car is running great still averaging 30-32 MPG.

why are your dashes rattling? something you think happens to all our cards? maybe we should take them in?

i dont notice that,

my card grinds the brakes really bad when i stomp on them at high speeds, but i assumes it because they are so small, which will be fixed when i get better brakes.

just got my system too , so when i get some time off from my job i will be doing that for my winter project

I'm about 14.6k and still runs like a champ. I have a few chips but I touched them all up, no dings or whatnot, the bottom of the lip is chewed up but that cause of my driveway. There is a few rattles but it don't bother me. Oil changes at every 4000-5000k

I love my Fit.

actually i was thinking about this post today and i tracked my dash rattling down to something hanging from rear view mirror and a piece of plastic stuck in the crack between the dash and windshield.

I tracked down my dash rattling and its coming from the crack between the passenger airbag and the top of the radio console. I'm also having the same problems with my brakes, as they grind even when I'm not braking hard. Sometimes it does it and sometimes it doesn't. I figured it was a good reason to upgrade to slotted/drilled rotors, pads, and lines

i could drive this car waaaaay faster if i had decent brakes on it for sure, but brake upgrade requires 16 inch rims or more,

what a waste of money. I change my oil when it says 15 percent, it's a fit not a build em1.

I got 34k on mine purchased in november of last year.

Might not be a waste of your money but someone's money is being wasted.

Only problem with the invisibra stuff is that if you live in areas that have hot summers that invisbra will start to turn yellow after some time. We sold a bunch at the shop I used to be part of but after just about everyone came back in after a year because theirs had turned yellow from sun exposure.
