ARMY's sending me to Alaska! How do you think my FIT will fair? (with pics)
I am little worried about taking my Fit to Alaska but I dont know what choice I have. How are you gurs fairing with snow and ice in general? Well Here is a few pics let me know what you guys think. Any advice would help to...

No problems in Alaska with the Fit. We have several members at Hondafitforums that have had their Fits there for years. you might want to invest in a block heater and maybe a battery blanket or charger as there has been record cold up there this year.

Thanks for the advice, is the engine block heater a pretty easy install? Also I hear there isnt very many Honda fans out there. I've been told they are real big on subaru and EVo's you know the AWD cars, wich makes total sence...

Nope not too bad it just goes in place of one of the freezplugs.

Hi,
A lower radiator hose heater or a heater hose heater is generally a little easier to install. Given the tiny battery a battery warmer would be good or pop the battery out if the car is to sit for a while.
