2015 Honda Vezel
"Vezel" is the name of the subcompact crossover now being sold in Japan, built off the Fit platform. It will have a different name when it comes to the US as a 2015 model, according to the articles linked below:

Re: 2015 Honda Vezel
LoL, its not made for sport driving. The fit was never meant for that either. Mugen just decided to spice it up with there kit, people started wanting more power in the fit and than the k swap happened.
edit: I take that back this lil puppy gots turbo. But I'm sure its for efficiency.

Re: 2015 Honda Vezel
It's official -- the HR-V (not Vezel) will have the same 1.8L engine as the Civic and come with a choice of transmissions: 6 speed manual (woo-hoo, I'm strictly a shift my own gears guy!) and a CVT. Sadly, AWD will be offered only with the CVT.
I've been researching cars to replace my 2007 Fit Sport. I want more room behind the rear seats (the 2015 Fit has less!) and I'd also like higher ground clearance & AWD for Chicago winters and the rough forest roads I take to trailheads. I've been seriously considering the Subaru XV Crosstrek, but MPG for the manual is 23/31 and I don't want to take that big of a step backwards on fuel economy.
The HR-V is (or soon will be) the closest thing on the market to what I'm looking for, even though I can't get AWD with the manual transmission.
Here's a link to an article with some pics & details on the HR-V:
