2007/2008 Honda Fit Homemade Air Intake
At the time of making, there was not much support for short ram intakes. The few companies were saying, make 10+ horsepower, etc... bullshit!!! The few rams that were in existance were going for $180+
What to do? My own short ram for about $50 lol...
I bought my parts from Kragen and it worked out beautifully.
Stock unit with an OEM style K&N which works awesome!!!
NO CHECK ENGINE LIGHT!!!
Results: No check engine light... Long run, what do I think? If you can sacrifice a few mpg's for more power, you'll love it. When my car was 100% stock I was getting about 400-420 miles to the tank... The most i've gotten with the homemade air filter and skunk2 exhaust is about 350-380 mpg long distance driving... not bad...
350 mpg being crazy on the pedal and 380 shifting below 3000 rpm's and cruising at 65/70 mpg which is hard to do with mods lol.

Another good job Alex, but you will like the PRM Jet Stream Intake even more. On my GD3 with this intake and a Megan axle back, I got 38 mpg. driving hammer down over Hwy. 50 from San Jose to Sacto. to Carson City Nevada- sea level to 7000 ft. to 5000 ft. then back again.

Wow. I love this DIY. The engine space, imho, doesn't give that much room to "engineer" a quality SRI. Looks like yours is what 90% of Honda Fit owners are looking for. Great DIY
