Default Lifted Gen 1 CR-V Reliability and Longevity

Hey everybody, new to the forum, not new to CR-Vs. I've had my '01 AWD 5-speed for about 3 years and 65,000 miles. As I do more research I'm getting more and more interested in lifting the little guy, but I drive about 20,000 miles a year and want very much to keep the integrity of the car in check. One of the things I enjoy most about my CR-V is it just never really breaks! I've found many many threads explaining ways to lift a CR-V, or step-by-step how-to's, or even just pictures of lifted CR-V's, but what I really want is to hear from some people who lifted their CR-V's 40, 50, maybe 60,000 miles ago to see how it's doing. Do you chew through tires in 10k because no one was able to pull the alignment back in spec? Are you obliterating ball joints? Do you replace axles as often as you schedule dental cleanings?

I'm not looking at anything extreme for this lift. I'm planning to buy the springs from Old Man Emu and new shocks from Bilstein, and run the stock size tires until I wear out my current Yokohama Avid Ascends (~15k miles). After that I'll probably put on Yokohama Geolanders (215/75/15). Stock wheels, no wheel spacers, no lift spacers to go beyond the OME lift. If anyone has a few years on something similar and has had luck, or has done something more extreme and still had luck, I'd love to hear your story! At 140k miles I'm on original shocks, original axles, original balljoints, original springs, and I'd love to keep a good thing goin!
