Engine Light P0325
Hey guys i have a 2003 Honda CRV EX this check engine light has been driving me crazy ! Code is P0325 which is for the knock sensor but i replace the sensor and the code came back. Sometimes the light goes off by itself but then will eventually come back on. I have no idea what it may be. Im looking for some insight into this issue! Thanks!

Re: Engine Light P0325
1. Was there some work done previously near the knock sensor before you got the P0325 code, such as replacement of starter and broke off the knock sensor?
2. If knock sensor was not previously broken, check that the harness connector is firmly connected to the OEM knock sensor. It can be due to poor connection or loose terminals at the knock sensor. It will be a little difficult to access the connector, as it is under the intake manifold. The first photo is for a 2003 CR-V.
3. Was the replacement knock sensor OEM or aftermarket?
4. Issue can also be due to an intermittent 'open' or 'short' in the Blue/Red wire that goes from the knock sensor to the PCM (car's computer). Examine the wire harness for chewed up wires and nests, rodent chew on the knock sensor wiring is also possible.

Re: Engine Light P0325
I bought a knock sensor from a local store but the light came back on so i returned it. I made sure the connector was tight and the cel light went off but came back on.
