Default Crv gen1 (2000) lift spacer. Please help

Hi there. New to this forum. Can anyone answer me this: thinking about ordering 40mm lift spacers, front and back. Will it be bolt on, or do i need to mod brakelines, handbrake wire etc? Thank you

Above is a link to a thread on this site about lifted crv's. It has information about spacers and the like. I don't know about having to mod anything, I guess it depends on what you decide to install. Good info in the link that i think might help you. I'm considering the same thing on my 98 crv. Best of luck.

Thank you very much planning to do a 2—2.5" lift. Also want to buy a set of Cragar soft 8 rims 15x7". Do you know if these will fit straight on? Seen many others use those rims in this forum.

dont go over 2", you risk damaging CV axels. If you dont mind replacing them often then go to 2.5, your call

you dont have to do anything special besides get it aligned after but since camber isnt adjustable you will be out of spec on camber without a camber kit (increased tire wear)

I would suggest a half inch taller spacer in the rear to counter the sag that all V's have or it will be way higher in the front

I just threw on new shocks and struts on my V and cant stand the rear sag. I want to make my own spacers but for some reason cannot locate the writeup on how to make the plastic ones. If anyone can help I would appreciate it (maybe the OP would too!).
