Recently, after a car inspection: When opening or closing the door, without the key in ignition, there is a constant rapid beep beep that will not stop until the door is closed. It never did this before the last couple weeks. When I park the car, remove key, remove seatbelt, the danged beeper starts when I open door. It is louder than the seat belt warning. When I open the door from outside to drive again, same thing. The car headlights are set to go off automatically and that has not changed.
I am not a DIY'er but can handle explicit instructions. I called my Honda service place and the service tech said he had never heard of this.
