Default 2003 CRV Flashing D Drive P0700 Transmission Fault

Hello,

I recently been receiving this concern with my 2003 CRV Flashing "D" Drive P0700 Transmission Fault. Ive been reading some topics regarding this issue but it relates towards with other fault codes. In this case, I am only receiving the one fault code P0700. Is there any Technical Bulletin from Honda relating this concern?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you

Did you identify what the code means?

Have you reset your ecu to see if it comes back?

The code is triggered by the transmission control module. This code is a permanent code. I have erased the code yesterday but I am concerned that this code will return. I have checked the fluid level which is good. I was wondering if anyone else has only experienced this code only. I know that this code P0700 is triggered due to a another transmission code.

I'm not understanding your comments that I put in bold. You need to list all codes that come up, yes code p0700 is a code particularly to the transmission but without the rest of the other codes then your only option is to bring it in to see whats wrong. Next time the CEL comes on pull all the codes.
