1st Gen Keyless entry
I recently bought a 97 CRV and it came with a aftermarket keyless entry. I saw on HandA that all CRVs from 97-01 came with keyless entry modules and so I bought the factory key FOB from them for a 97 CRV
The problem is, I can't get the car to go into program mode. Could the aftermarket keyless entry be causing the problem? I disconnected the aftermarket keyless entry unit from the fuse box and the power door locks still work, but it will still not go into program mode.
I've searched the different forums and tried checking to make sure the interior lights function properly with the doors as well as a few other things but nothing seems to be working. My next step is to open the door panel and take a look...
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
