So about a month or so ago my recently purchased 01 with 115K miles on it starts to leak around the top tank seal - got a replacement ($105 from Pep Boiees), and last week the new one started leaking on the bottom tank seal. Pep Homies replaced it no questions, but wtf is up with these cheap plastic tank radiators?

I saw some decent looking all-aluminum models on ebay for about the same $$ - they any good? Cuz if this one leaks, I want my money back and am getting all-alum.

^that's why I just said **** it and went with OEM! It will at least last 10+ years if the OEM already lasted just as long

It's got me a bit pissed off, having to check under the car for leaks and keep an eye on the temp gauge.
On the other hand just got the Yonaka catback SS system last night. Amazing quality, $140 LESS than Pep Homefries price for stock crap-steel stock replacement.

So balances out sort of.
