ZC timing belt cover clearance
Ok, it seems like no one sells the JDM ZC hood for a four door civic, so my only other option is to trim the webbing so that the timing belt cover will fit. Does anyone know of detailed instructions of where and how to trim? What special tools will I need?

I haven't put it in yet, but I read that I would have clearance probs. You had none? Do you have a 4dr?

Re: ZC timing belt cover clearance (JKingCivicSi)
i didn't have any problems, but it's a wagon and the hood and angle are different.
i've heard of people putting a washer or two on each stud of the mount bracket on the engine, between the bracket and the actual mount to drop that side of the engine 1/8-1/4", allowing clearance.
