i am finally doing the swap ive wanted to for years im putting a b18c1 in my hatch,
quick question though i cant seem to find an answer, will the stock b18 motor harness work after i put the engine in my car? or will i have to buy a new harness for the swap? i looked at the rywire harness but i was wondering if i could make this work for little or no extra money

you have to use the one that's in your car

unless you plan on chaning your entire cabin harness

contrary to popular belief its much easier to use the existing harness and modify/extend wires to fit the engine you're trying to run.

do you have an obd0 to obd1 conversion harness? ecu?

the motor is coming out of a whole car so ya ive got the ecu but no conversion harness

why is this contrary to popular belief? its what you have to do. unless like some one allready said your gona change then entire car harness to match the gsr engine harness.

yea. while you have the motor out would be the best time to rework all the wires.

so i use my si harness modified, and use the obd0/1 jumper to connect it to the ecu?, sorry im a pretty good mechanic but im not the greatest with wiring
