Maybe due to the wreck you must have had to make that happen. A CV axle can't just pop out unless you have some VERY serious damage on the car. otherwise it's physically impossible uless something broke.
try to actually explain your question or give some more details. Maybe that "bongfire" is burning a little too much?

Not true about it not being able to pop out ^^ but I agree about needing more info.
Did you recently replace your axles? On the first tranny swap I ever did about 5 years ago, when I pulled out the original axle the axle seal came out with it and I didn't notice. When I put the axle in the new tranny (which also had a seal installed), it wouldn't go in far enough for the clip to catch on the inside of the diff because there were 2 seals. Took off the seal that was stuck to the axle and bam, worked great.
I also had a friend that had a problem with the clip on the end of the axle spline. It kept popping out because the clip wasn't expanding enough. Pulled the axle, stretched out the clip with some pliars, and never had the problem again.

Re: my cv axles popd out the tranny (BONGFIRE420)
yea it sounds like your inner sline clip. I was thinking the thing popped all the way out of the tranny which I know won't work. You shouldn't have to replace the entire axle, you should be able to expand the clip some like already mentioned. If the clip is just completely trashed you may have some luck getting one from a junkyard or maybe a shop that has old cores laying around. I have some laying around my shop so I figure it should not be too hard to score one, good luck

Re: (BONGFIRE420)
haha highly doubt it....
anywayyyyyyssssss.....sounds like your locking ring on the axle is busted or bent...some jerkoff must have tried messing around with it before he put it in
without the locking ring securely installed the axle wont stay in the tranny

....
Have you pulled the axle all the way out? Had a look at the clip? Looked inside the diff? When you put an axle in you usually have to use pretty good force to get the clip to lock.

Re: (BONGFIRE420)
wellllll there could be two reasons...
your speed sensor.....try taking it off the top of the tranny then put it back on after you install the *axles*....
orrr i had this problem when i put in my axles in my last rex...i had to put the passenger side in first then the driver side...
but try the top one first and just take a mallet or something and try pounding it in the tranny
i had a job shadow at les schwab and they said sometimes when installing axles you have to give it a couple good hits to get into the tranny

Don't see how that would be possible. The speed sensor doesn't go anywhere near where the axle splines are in the diff. It spins off of the ring gear right at the top of the diff case.

edited for content.
your diff bearings might be shot, please use the search feature, honda axle problems have been covered many times and usually lead to successful repairs of the problem.
