My baby, 1991 Tahitian Green Civic Hatchback DX needed a new bearing for the right front so I took it to Les Schwab. They later called and said, they can't do it since they might have to replace the hub but they can't find any hubs, anywhere, not even at Honda-West in Roseville. Honda stopped making them so you can't order it. They recommend finding one at the junkyard. So I took it to local shop who specializes in Hondas. They confirmed my baby needed a new hub but they too can't find any hubs anywhere to order. But luckily for me, the owner was creative so he took a hub from a 1994 Civic and machined it for a perfect fit.

Sounds like all is well in the end when the owner took care of it with a modified hub.

Didn't they check aftermarket? I'd buy a Federal Mogul/Moog hub-bearing assy before I'd go used.
