you can do whatever your heart desires. I'd say a B20 is going to be the largest motor that would fit in relatively easily, but you can do teh H22 swap, or hell drop an NSX motor in there if you've got time & cash

the H22 wouldn't be too difficult, but definitly not as easy as the b20, hell w/ the money you can drop a V8 in it and someone has, I believe its a chevy 305, and its front engine rear wheel drive, whats w/ all the noob questions in the CRX/EF forum???
EDIT: my bad, I just noticed, HONDA engine, yeah the NSX, I think its hte C23 is the biggest that will fit

I think its because ef's are cheap, reliable, and fun. Alot of people buy them for those reasons not because they're honda fanatics.

haha, what about the mugen v8?? (if that does classify as a "honda" engine)
anyways, realistically i'd say an H22, though ive never seen it done before... more realistically though any b-series...

Yep... nail in the coffin.
EF = 800 bucks or so...
Noob Questions = Priceless entertainment!

Re: (youngwon22)
You can definitely put an H22 in there. It won't be pretty getting it in since its damn big but its been done before by people. Next down would be B20, much easier to do that that H22.

i would suggest the h22 my friend just dropped his h22 in his 88 dx hatchback and i have another that is putting a h22 in a crx. it cost money but it is sick as hell and when people ask what you got and you pop that hood it would be like whoa!! there is a shop in L.A.,CA that does if for around $5,200 or so. but if your planning on doing it yourself you better know what your getting into because its a lot of work. if you dont want a lot of work i suggest CrVtec.

Where can I get a spoon engine? Also, what all can be done to a H22?? What about a S2000 engine?? I thought ive heard about someone doing that before. With a spoon or a h22 engine, can my CRX still be street legal? or will I have to do something to it in order for those engines that will make it not street legal??? Thanks for all the suggestions though
