vtec killer cams?
hi, what exactly are vtec killer cams, in detail. dont just say they kill vtec thats already obvious. what are their benefits?

None, for a street car. Its just a big lobed cam that does away with having a third lobe for vtec, you just run the one big cam profile.
It kills vtec.

nah i just hear that they're pretty much the **** but i dunno, thinking to myself it may be stupid but if ur gon kill vtec u might as well cam out an ls, no?

Its a very high lift camshaft that doesnt have the third lobe.i have a feeling you might end up unplugging the VTEC solenoid? not quite sure. If you know how a VTEC camshaft reguarly looks like then look at the Killer and you'll see. not reccommended for street use.

boy told me he bought one for his ls/vtec build...305/305..... brian crower b18a/b stage 2 cams 300/300.... do u see what i'm trying to get at?

VTEC = good low end torque, good emissions, good fuel economy + high lift cams for high rpm power.
VTEC killer systems = reduced low end torque, poor emissions, poor fuel economy, only high lift cams for high rpm power. Using them in a car that's going to be used on the street is just stupid.
