(visibly unnoticible) weight reduction?
Alright, i'm trying to keep the clean stock look to the interior of my car, so i dont want to have all the seats ripped out carpet pulled, dash torn off.. etc, but, what kind of weight reduction is there to do that will not be visibly noticble, but will still reduce the wheight? such as, spare tire/jack, the sound deadening, or lightweight alternator/underdrive pulleys. anything yall can think of will be appreciated.

Other then what you've already named, ditch any cd player or speakers. Gut the insides of your doors and put your pannels back on. You could pull out your heater blower and all that bullshit and stick the dash back on again. Throw a lightweight battery in the back just for good measure.

That's a good start
Next it'll start costing you things like a carbon fiber hood painted to match, lighter suspension parts.

Well then the lower cost things have been covered, I only offered you more info for the next level if you chose to do so, at very least now you'll know incase your plans change or someone asks you.

Not sure if you have a hatch or crx but if a crx get the hf bumper support, lose 20 lbs easy, get some lexan windows for the rear

Re: (white90crxhf)
what year and model is your crx?
sunroof? pull that out and put a cap over the hole.
convert rear to drum brakes, take out hatch wiper motor. 13 inch wheels, take spare tire and jack out.
or go and find a 88-89 HF, and you'll be done already.

There is a fair amount you can do that is not plainly visible from the outside. A lot depends on whether this is an all-weather daily driver or if you only take it out when you want to. If you not worried about winter you can lose heater motor, windshield washer pumps, washer fluid reservoir, all AC components...
Lose the spare tire and any tools. If you have the original cargo compartment in the back you can take all that stuff out (just tell your parents you wanted more trunk space).
If you have a sunroof you can take off your headliner, remove the sunroof sub-assembly (it should only be four bolts to take the whole thing out) remove the sunroof motor and then put the subassembly/headliner back on.
You can take off your interior paneling and remove the sound-proofing, but I'm not sure if you will like the rattling that your panels will make without any padding.
Lexan windows for the rear are nice but this will be a noticeable change to the appearance of the car. Any carbon fiber body parts like hatch/hood that you can save up for will make a difference. I wouldn't bother with the fenders, I got a pair of CF fenders and they are barely any lighter than the original sheet metal ones.
Gut the inside of your doors and take out the seatbelt pulleys (if you have door-mounted belts). Of course this becomes a safety issue, but hey...
Also if you can put together some cash buy a new set of wheels. You can easily explain that to your folks, hey it just looks nicer. But a nice set of lightweight wheels will make a big difference. Hit up tirerack.com to get ideas, they list the weights of all the wheels they sell so you can find some light wheels that fit your budget.
Hope that gives you some stuff to try.
